A retaining wall is a highly visual job, and the strongest proof is the work itself, especially the "before it failed" shot. A slumping railway-sleeper terrace gone, a clean concrete-sleeper wall raked to the fall and drained behind. A block wall bulging out over a driveway rebuilt as engineer-certified core-filled besser. Every one of these across the Adelaide Hills was priced by the face-metre, drained properly, and engineered where the height needed it.
